Antonin Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, known as the New World Symphony, earned the composer an international reputation. The symphony is so influential that astronaut Neil Armstrong brought a tape recording of the symphony on the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.

The evening will open with Montgomery’s Strum and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G featuring Sean Chen.
