The first Festival Concert of the 2025 Season will feature performances of Jessie Montgomery’s Starburst, J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D Major, Gustav Mahler’s Songs of a Wayfarer, Claude Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and Aaron Copland’s Suite from Appalachian Spring. Featuring the SVBF Orchestra and baritone soloist David Newman.
